If a hair trial is something important to yourself then you should think about booking your hair and makeup trial for the same day. This gives you the best expectations of how you will look on the day.

Ensure that any facial waxing be performed more than 48hr prior to your makeup appointment. As makeup doesn’t sit properly over freshly waxed skin.

Exfoliating your skin at least 24hrs before your makeup will enhance the texture of your skin to maximise a beautiful skin finish with base makeup application. This can either be with your favourite facial exfoliant or by pre-booking a dermaplaning appointment.

Also avoid wearing any moisturisers or SPF’s before your application, instead be prepared with fresh/clean skin.

If you think you will be booking in a tan for the wedding day, then also book one for your trial too. Makeup can totally transform when you have a nice golden tan.

If you have a particular lipstick/lipgloss colour you’d like to complete your makeup application or something to touch up with throughout your day, then please provide your own.

Please come prepared with an idea of how you would like your makeup to turn out. Everyone has different ideas of what the terms “full coverage” “glam” and “natural” are. Typically using an image of what the makeup artist has already advertised is the best inspiration, as we know for certain that this look is achievable, however coming with any sort of images are a great help.
